Pervez to stay as the president during the elections

Pervez musharraf says he would contest the elections with out resigning.This comes despite an agreement with Bhutto not to do so.He said he has no definite time frame to shed his uniform but said that when ever he does so he would take PML into confidence.

“While the President believes in dialogue and deliberations on all important national issues, he never works under any pressure or ultimatum,” the spokesman said in a statement issued to the media.

“A lot of progress has been made, particularly on the uniform. But it’s for the President to make an announcement" said Bhutto when asked about her talks with the president.
